"We initiated this mission way back in 1980 albeit on a small scale. The passing of each year and the ever growing popularity of his martial art technique “Chitah Jeet Kune Do” has motivated us to honor our idol by celebrating his birth anniversary on a large scale year after year. The participation of students, stars, media, corporate houses and many individuals kept the series alive and made this celebration a grand success. Let’s hope to see many more celebrations of this kind which not only honors one of the greatest men this world has seen but also inculcates values like discipline, focus and dedication in generations today and tomorrow," says Chitah Yagnesh Shetty, Founder - Director - Chitah JKD Global Sports Federation.
